The Quintum Tenor Carrier MultiPath
Switch gives CLECs, ISPs, and other telecommunications
entrepreneurs an easy, cost-effective way to deliver
low-cost, high-quality voice services over IP networks.
Residing in your POP and connected to
Tenor units on customer premises via IP, the Tenor
CMS provides a complete VoIP solution with a MultiPath
architecture that allows you to use both your data
network and the public switched telephone network
to provide voice service. By providing greater assurance
of call quality and reliability, this unique capability
makes VoIP services easier for you to sell to todays
risk-averse customers, easier to customize for individual
customer needs, and easier to scale as your business
expands.
SelectNet
intelligence takes the risk out of VoIP.
With our patent-pending SelectNet technology,
the Tenor continuously monitors your data network
for jitter, latency, and packet loss, and transparently
switches customer calls to the PSTN when required.
This intelligent switching allows you to achieve the
QoS targets your customers demand, at costs that traditional
phone companies simply cannot match.
PacketSaver
intelligence minimizes network congestion.
With its PacketSaver technology, the Tenor reduces
bandwidth consumption up to 50%, by combining voice
packets from several calls into a single packet to
minimize bandwidth overhead.
NATAccess
intelligence means greater security.
The Tenor VoIP MultiPath Switch also features a unique
technology that allows it to operate behind NAT-enabled
firewalls. The innovative NATAccess solution
overcomes the problem of NAT firewalls not correctly
translating internal IP addresses into public addresses
when a VoIP call is established with an outside party.
Carrier class intelligence delivers
the features you demand.

of a service provider network, the Tenor offers
