Telogic Malaysian R&D unit has been awarded Multimedia Super Corridor ( MSC ) status in Malaysia

10, 2004 -- Telogic , a leading provider of telecommunications network management solutions as well as solution for mobile/fixed value added services is pleased to announced that Telogic Technology Sdn Bhd (TTSB), the R&D arm of Telogic group of companies, has been awarded Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status in Malaysia by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC), the Malaysian government agency in charge of this R&D investment scheme.
MSC is an initiative provided by the Malaysian government to prepare an environment that encourages innovation, helping companies, both Malaysian and international, to reach new technology frontiers, partnering global IT players and providing the opportunities for mutual enrichment and success.

Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status is awarded by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC), a body set up by Malaysian government agency. This is part of the Malaysian government long-term goals in creating an environment that encourages innovation, helping companies, both Malaysian and international, to reach new technology frontiers, partnering global IT players and providing the opportunities for mutual enrichment and success. Companies that are eligible to be awarded with MSC status must be a provider or a heavy user of ICT products and services. These companies must employ a substantial number of knowledge workers; and contribute to the development of the MSC and the Malaysian economy. These companies also enjoy the various incentive and assistance scheme from Malaysian government in its spearheading of Research and Development efforts.
