   2.Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP)
 

ImageStream's VRRP daemon is an RFC 2338-compliant Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) implementation. VRRPd is designed to eliminate the single point of failure inherent in static default routed LAN environments by automatically providing alternate router paths.
