Telogic USSD Gateway with Menu Browsing features launched by prominent GSM operator in Pakistan

K.Lumpur, Malaysia, July 18, 2006 -- Telogic, a leading provider of telecommunications network management solutions as well as solutions for mobile/fixed value added services, has successfully deployed and launched its USSD Menu Browsing solution for a leading mobile operator in Pakistan. Unstructured Supplementary Services Data (USSD) is a session-based technology, which is provisioned in GSM networks, that enables instantaneous connection and delivery of interactive services.

Telogic USSD Menu Browsing is a user-friendly mobile interactive application offering instant access to various services via text-based menu list. The operator defined only a single service number (e.g. *123#), and it will return a list of available sub-services (in a menu-based format) to the mobile subscriber who has initiated the request. This provides utmost convenience for subscribers as they are no longer required to memorize a list of specific short codes and text keywords for each service.
