Telogic launches its Over-the-Air Phone Backup Solution for Sun Cellular in the Philippines

Singapore, 9th May 2006 -- Telogic Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based Telecom Solutions Provider is excited to announce its strategic partnership with Sun Cellular (Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc.), for the launching of its Over-the-Air Phone Backup service called Sun MyVault.

Sun Cellular (Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc.), a fast-growing GSM Operator in the Philippines, enables its subscribers to create a backup of important information such as contacts and text messages to the MyVault server. It is a very important concept which helps users to maintain a copy of their information, in the event of unavoidable situations; for example: when phone is lost, defective, broken, stolen, and even in the event that user needs to change his handset. It also allows the convenience of storing and retrieving important mobile phone data anytime, anywhere.

This very simple store-and-restore mechanism over-the-air is available to all handset types. In fact, users can upload their contacts and text messages using keyword-based commands.
